Episode 003 : Dave talks with Eddie Halfyard about acid rain and the West River liming project

In this episode of The Maritime Outdoorsman, host Dave Doggett talks with PhD Candidate, Eddie Halfyard about acid rain and the West River Sheet Harbour liming project undertaken by the Nova Scotia Salmon Association.

Eddie starts off his discussion with the quote “first and foremost I’m an angler”.  He spent much of his childhood in the outdoors, learning the ins and outs of angling and hunting and is currently finishing up his PhD. at Dalhousie University with a fascinating study on Atlantic Salmon and the effects of acid rain.
